What’s up with Swelling?
What is up with waking up in the morning and feeling like a balloon filled with water? I thought you were supposed to wake up refreshed and not so squishy feeling. hahaha. I for the most part do wake up feeling good; however there are days like today that when I went to bed last night my toes were swollen as far as they could swell my fingers were swollen and I was just full of water…..well when I woke up this morning…I was still that way. So it’ll take most of the day to get that squishy water feeling gone.
Still got out and walked and ran yesterday and did my wall push ups before jumping in shower.

Ok Stephanie, that really worries me. Do you usally feel like that? I retain water because of my heart condition.
Swelling of any kind is dangerous my friend, PLEASE PLEASE get looked at ok?
Usually salt is the culprit, it makes you retain water. Do you take a water pill? Hmmmm, I am going to worry now until I hear you have a solution or answer. Can’t have anything happening to my new buddy
keep me up to date.
Kudos for still getting out and walking!!!

I agree……..any type of swelling is not a good thing. Swelling in the face is usually a sign of a kidney problem..but else where in the body is a heart problem. You should go to your doctor and get your blood pressure and cholesterol checked as soon as possible. Feel better!
I’ll add this little comment so everyone will know….I’ve been to doc for blood pressure. I have recently been able to be taken off med because I have been able to keep it in check with my exercise and such. I have perfect cholesterol all other blood work looks wonderful as well. I have always been this way. Most days are good, but then I will have a day or so that is just yucky! I’m thinking it may be partially because it’s close to monthly time. (not sure). I just know it feels yuck to be puffy.
Did you by any chance have a high sodium food yesterday? I know you’ve probably already thought of that, as it is so common to cause swelling. Yeah, sometimes I can get some swelling when it’s time for my period too. I hope you’re feeling better!

It looks like your doing a great job working out.
Hope the swelling problem goes away.
